When the cassette cover 2 is further closed, a tape cassette 4 is lifted up while the lower end is moved to a horizontal plane 62 from a curved plane 61 of a receiving member 6, the tilted state of the cassette is restored, the upper end is latched to the tip lower end projection of a mis-erase prevention detecting lever 12, and the tip of a capstan shaft 10 is inserted to a capstan shaft insertion hole under the back side. When the cassette cover 2 is further closed from this state, the cassette 4 slides along the horizontal plane 62 of the member 6 and is set toward vertical direction.
