Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily perform redriving of an excessive load preventing apparatus by interposing a sliding clutch in a gear transmission and allowing a motor to stop when the photoelectric signals of the input and output shafts are not synchronized.
CONSTITUTION: A driven shaft 7 is driven by a motor 1 through a reducer 2, output shaft 3, sliding clutch 4, and gears 5 and 6. When exceesive load state is developed, the sliding clutch 4 slides, so difference of relative revolution number is generated between the output shaft 3 and the driven shaft 7. The revolution of the output shaft 3 is counted by a rotary disc 8 and a photoelectric switch 9, and the revolution of the driven shaft 7 is counted by a rotary disc 10 and a photoelectric switch 11, so these signals are compared, and when decided that the output shaft 3 and the driven shaft 7 are not synchronized, generation of excessive load is judged, and the motor 1 is stopped.
