Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the compact structure of an automatic three-speed gear as a whole by compactly installing a secondary pinion and a gear on an intermediate shaft and an output shaft respectively, while reducing the deceleration ratio between a primary pinion and the gear by the amount equivalent to the reduction of the structure size.
CONSTITUTION: A crank shaft 1, intermediate shaft 7, and an output shaft 13 are arranged, and a secondary pinion 21 and a secondary gear 23 are installed compactly on the intermediate shaft 7 and the output shaft 13 respectively. As a result, the deceleration ratio between a primary pinion 4 and a primary gear 5 can be reduced by the amount equivalent to the reduction of the structure size, and the number of revolution of the primary gear 5 can be kept high, and each capacity of the second centrifugal clutch 10 and the third centrifugal clutch 11 can be reduced, thus the structure can be made compact as a whole.
