Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress abnormal vibration in a dehydrator, by receiving liquid in the annular chamber provided on a rotating reservoir in such a way as to allow the liquid to flow freely, and by accomodating a plural number of spherical bodies so as to move them freely in the other annular chamber that is arranged concentrically. CONSTITUTION:A balancer 22 is mounted concentrically with the rotating reservoir 20 on the inner periphery of the upper opening of the rotating reservoir 20. In the upper and lower portions of the case 23 of the balancer 22, the first annular chamber 25 containing liquid and the second annular chamber 26 containing a spherical body are formed. In said balancer, if unbalance with deflexion of the rotating reservoir 20 due to the steel ball 31 is under the absorption limit, vibration is suppressed by the ball-balancer effect of the steel ball, and if over the absorption limit, vibration amplitude is suppressed to a small range as a result of diminishing the degree of vibration amplitude reduction by the liquid balancer effect that is the ball balancer effect accompanying increase in the deflexion of the rotating reservoir 20.
