Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent intrusion of dust and improve the cooling effect by providing a guide member and a wind collection member on the road side of a stationary dust cover and providing an introducing member to surround the rotor stem.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of running, the head wind enters from an end opening of a wind collection member 41 to flow along the guide member 43, and mud strikes the guide member and is discharged to the outside from a bottom portion of the wind collection member 41 where the guide member 43 does not extend. Since the width of the guide member 43 increases from an opening 41a toward an outlet 41b, the speed of inflowing air is increased to enhance the mud removal function. Air at the increased speed flows through a communication hole formed in the wind collection member 41, a communication hole formed in an introducing member 51 and a curl section 55 to enter a cooling air passage hole 21a formed in a disc rotor 21 for cooling a disc rotor 21. In this way, the mud intrusion prevention effect and cooling effect are improved, and the life of the bearings is extended.
