Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the output loss due to the overheating of the engine by a method wherein a wide guide passage is formed at a front fender arranged ahead the supercharger-equipped engine and a running wind is positively guided by said wind guide passage to just before the engine during running.
CONSTITUTION: Wind guide walls 19 having fixed longitudinal lengths are expandingly formed integral with the front fender 18 on both sides at the longitudinal center of the fender. And a pair of the wind guide passages 21 having an inverted U-shaped horizontal section as a whole are formed with said wind guide walls 19 and fender side walls 20. The wind guide wall 19 is formed outwardly convex so as to gradually get nearer to the fender side wall 20 from the front toward the rear. Because the opening area at the suction port 22 of the wind guide passage 21 is larger than that at the discharge port 23, the speed of the running wind flowed from the port 22 is gradually accelerated and discharged from the port 23. The discharged running wind is led directly before the engine E equipped with the supercharger S to effectively cool said engine by blowing against the engine.
