Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for main steam pipe line plug by making the main steam pipe line and reactor pressure vessel owing to clogging of a stop valve for testing irrespective.
CONSTITUTION: A stop valve 18 for testing is installed between the main steam inner isolating valve 4 of the main steam pipe line 2 and reactor pressure vessel 1. When this valve 18 is held closed, the plant does not start. A line 19 connecting to a pressure conduit pipe 7, a condensate transfer pipe 21 connected to this line 19 by way of a valve 20, a pressure gauge 24 connected to this transfer pipe 21 by way of valves 22, 23 and a flow transmitter 25 inserted to one of the pressure conduit pipe 7 are provided to an instrumentation rack 8. A boosting line 29 by nitrogen gas is connected to the line 19 by way of a flange 26, reducing valve 27 and stop valve 28.
