Abstract

PURPOSE: To fix a cab at an optional slope, by providing fixing means capable of limiting by stages the tilting motion of the cab toward its original posotion between a lower arm pivotably installed to a body frame side and an upper arm pivotably installed to the cab side.
CONSTITUTION: A cab 10 is tilt-movably installed to a car body frame 12 through a torsion bar 11, to which a preload is applied, and fixed by a tilt angle fixing mechanism 20. Said mechanism 20 is constituted by a lower arm 21 pivotably and swivelably installed to the body frame 12 at its one end, upper arm 22 pivotably and swivelably installed to the cab 10 at its one end and fixing means A provided between the both arms 21, 22. The fixing means A are of such a constitution as to comprise a sector gear 23, pawl 24, tension coil spring 25, pin 26 and lever 27 as the main parts and can permit the cab 10 to tilt from its original position to that at the tilt angle of about 25°. And hold it at every space angle of about five degrees in the range of about 25W45°.
