Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the vibration-proof performance by extending the shaft of shock-absorber for suspender upwardly while coupling the extended section through a cross beam and supporting the upper section of engine body at the central portion of cross beam through a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:The shock-absorber piston rod 10 is coupled rotatably from a front suspension support 8 mounted on the body 1 through a ball bearing 9, then a Mcpherson strut 14 is coupled through a coil spring 13 to said rod 10. The upper edge of the inner tube 24 in the support 8 is coupled through a bolt 25 to the cross beam 26. An engine upper mount 28 is fixed through a bolt 27 to the central portion of the cross 26, then said mount 28 is resiliently coupled through a bracket 29 to the engine head cover 7 thus to support the cross beam 26 resiliently.
