Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the high-speed performance of a valve device in which a signal valve is provided near a passage which communicates with the body of a change-over valve, by setting the signal valve so that its axis intersects that of a piston and by providing the piston with a shaft part which comes into contact with a transmission shaft for the signal valve.
CONSTITUTION: In a hydraulic circuit applied to a driver for a high-speed circuit breaker for high electric power or the like, pressurized oil is supplied from a pressure source 1 to a load 2 through a change-over valve 10. The load is operated by an operating unit 3 having a piston 4. The position of the piston is detected by a signal valve 11 connected to the operating unit 3 to generate a feedback signal to control the action of the pistion 4. A shaft part 21, which is fitted in a passage 17, is provided on the rod-opposite end of the piston 4 housed in a cylinder body 13. The signal valve 11 is housed in a strough hole 25 which extends perpendicularly to the passage 17. A transmission shaft 20 for the signal valve 11 can be protruded into the passage 17 and engaged with the shaft part 21.
