Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform reconstitution of the system in a short time in case of fault, etc., by supplying a clock signal in the reserve transmission line at all times, in the loop type data transmission system having one pair of existing and reserve transmission lines. As for one of the transmission lines L and L', which is used as a reserve one, a clock signal is always supplied from itself or other transmission device and is operated with the units connected to this transmission line, therefore the whole system becomes a stable operation status in a short time after connection of the units has been changed in case of fault, etc.
