Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate vignetting and directivity by wavelengths over a wide wavelength region by providing positive lenses near the both sides of an intermediate slit and making the combined magnification of the both positive lens 1. CONSTITUTION:Light incident from an inlet slit S1 goes through a concave face diffraction grating G1 and forms a spectrum image I in the position of an intermediate slit S2. It then emits from an outlet slit S3 through a concave face diffraction grating G2. Here, planoconvex positive lenses L1, L2 are disposed symmetrically with respect to the intermediate slit S2 so that the two diffraction gratings G1, G2 are made mutually conjugate by the composite system thereof and that the combined imaging magnification of the spectrum image I by the composite system becomes 1. Thereby, vignetting is eliminated although the construction is small and nevertheless the characteristic having no directivity owing to wavelengths may be obtained.
