Abstract

PURPOSE: To pour out a material in a tank rapidly and completely, by a method wherein an elastic packing, which is pneumatically projected, is located at an outer circumferential surface of a pressing plate.
CONSTITUTION: A tank 1 is situated between air cylinders 6, 6 and a pressing plate 14 is positioned facing and opposite to an opening 3. The pressing plate 14 is lowered through the medium of a pouring-out pipe 11 with a lifting means 9 activated, and pressurized air is fed from an air feed source 10 to a toroidal groove 16 through a connecting passage 17 when the pressing plate 14 is inserted into the tank 1. An elastic packing 18 is pressed outwardly by the pressurized air, and the packing, projecting from an outer cirumferential surface of the pressing plate 14, is pressed against an inner wall 1a of the tank 1. When the pressing plate 14 is lowered by means of the lifting means 9 under a condition described above, a bottom surface of the pressing plate 14 presses downward a high viscous material 2 in the tank 1. Thus the high viscous material forcibly pushed upward into the pouring-out pipe 11 from a perforation 15 is poured out to the outside from a pour-out port 13.
