Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain flexiblity for enabiling use of workpieces different in bored positions, by always retaining a jet suction container in a prescribed positional relation to a working electrode independently of the movement of the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A working tank 12 containing a sparking liquid 13 can be moved in two directions perpendicular to a bed 11. A spindle 16 fitted with a working electrode 18 is attached to a head 15. One end of a supporting arm 21 is secured on a column 20. A jet suction container 19 for removing chips from the gap between the working electrode 18 and a workpiece 14 is secured on the other end of the supporting arm 21 so that the container 19 faces the working electrode across the workpiece. As a result, the working electrode 18 can be kept in a prescribed positional relation to the jet suction container 19 even if the positional relation between the workpiece 14 and the working electrode changes.
