Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to detect a damage of a high precision tool in high accuracy by a simple constitution wherein vibration of the tool during processing is detected. CONSTITUTION:When all of drills 161-16n are being operated in a normal condition, values of vibration detected by vibration detectors 211-213 are kept in predetermined values, there will be no output from an OR circuit 28 and a comparator 29, an alarm device 32 will not be operated and normal boring works are effected. When a breakage is caused in one of the drill among the drills in a row, a vibration detecting signal X is reduced in accordance with it and the absolute value thereof is compared with preset values A, B, C, an output thereof is input into an AND circuit 31, a clutch 13 is operated and rotations of the drills are stopped.
