Abstract
PURPOSE:To restrain the influence dependent upon short-circuit of the signal line between master and slave machines to a minimum, by inserting prescribed repeaters in proper positions of the signal line. CONSTITUTION:Repeaters B... are inserted in proper positions of signal line 2 from master machine 1. When no voltage appeares on signal line 2 over a prescribed time, this repeater B decides that short-circuit has occurred in signal line 2 to disconnect and separate the signal line of the master machine side and the signal line of the terminal side from each other; and when a signal is input from the master machine, repeater B operates so that disconnection and separation may be restored automatically. When the signal line is disconnected, the short-circuit occurrence position is detected by master machine 1 having a function to detect short-circuit of the signal line, and all repeaters except sections which are affected by short-circuit are released. Consequently, normal remote control can be performed for terminal upon short-circuit can be restrained to a minimum.
