Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce electric energy by using water pressures in a water pipe which accomodates at a proper position a turbine connected to a generator by a rotation shaft.
CONSTITUTION: When an outlet valve 5 at a faucet 6 is opened, city water is freely rushed from a main pipe to the faucet 6 through a feed pipe 1. A turbine 7 is stored in position on the way of the feed pipe, including a guide vane 8 in the middle of the turbine and stay vanes 9, 9' in front and back of the vane 8. Pressurized water passing through one stay vane 9 spins the guide vane 8 abruptly. The attendant spinning of a rotation shaft is transmitted to a generator 11, where the spinning of mechanical energy is converted into electric energy to form power of electromotive force. Thus spinning the guide vane in the turbine by inrush of compressed water can be converted into electric energy in a generator to produce electromotive force.
