Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the production of color error at the part having no vertical corelativity, by separating the color signal through the removal of factors of fluctuation of modulation color component due to luminance and adding again the component luminance after separation. CONSTITUTION:The signal from the pick up tube 11 having the stripe filter is separated for the luminance signal component at LPF13, and it is fed to the non-linear circuit 18, and the output of the non-linear circuit 18 is the control signal of the gain control circuit 17. On the other hand, the high band modulation component including chroma signal is separated from HPF16 and it is the input signal of the gain control circuit 17. The modulation component removed with the factors of variation due to luminance level is obtained from the output of the gain control circuit 17 and it is inputted to the delay circuit 19. Further, the non-delay signal and delay signal are operated at the adder 20 and substractor 21, and envelope detection is made at the detection circuits 22 and 23. After that, chroma signal is picked up at LPFs 24, 25 and it is fed to the gain control circuit 26 in non-linear control.
