Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve copying efficiency by sepcifically conveying an endless photoreceptor by the conveying means provided on an original scanning member. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide rods 18 are fixed to the apparatus body parallel to the scanning direction below a platen 11 and a scanner 12 consisting of a lighting device 13, focusing type optical transmission body 14, charger 15 and two sets of photoreceptor conveying roller pairs 16, 17 is guided by these. An endless photoreceptor 10 is conveyed at the same speed as the scanning speed in the direction opposite from the scanning direction. As a result of this, the endless photoreceptor 10 becomes holdable in a static state with respect to the original at the exposure and the employment of an exposure means for entering two-dimensional optical images to the exposure part of the electrophotographic apparatus becomes possible. In addition, the endless photoreceptor 10 is fed into an image forming process means other than exposure means, thus the intended object is achieved.
