Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In purifying a sample insoluble in water, such as various high- molecular and organic compounds, org. carboxylate such as calcium oleate and the like, or metal ion of a salt of an org. acid such as phenol-resole resin in a phenolate form in which a phenolic haydroxyl group forms a slat with sodium, by using ion exchange resin, an org. solvent, such as ethanol, acetone or the like, is used as an eluent. Even when water content of an org. solvent is remarkably low, the purification of a sample can be carried out in the same way as when water is used.
