Abstract

PURPOSE:To inject electrolyte into each cell rapidly and quantitatively without dispersion by providing hoses according to the number of cells at the lower part of a liquid supply tank whose liquid pressure is always kept constant and then by controlling the opening time of pinch valves provided to the hoses. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the liquid supply tank 4 provided with the overflow liquid frame 14 receiving overflow liuqid is always filled with an electrolyte supplied from the pump 16 and its pressure is kept constant at all times. Also, the bottom of the liquid tank 4 is provided with a number of the hoses 12 corresponding to the number of cells of storage battery. The hoses of a flexible silicone rubger, etc., is always filled with electrolyte and also fitted with the pinch valve 13 to control opening the hoses. The end of each hose, also, is fitted with the liquid injection nozzle 19 supported by the nozzle holding plate 20. Thus, an necessary amount of electrolyte can be injected into each storage battery rapidly and quantitatively without dispersion in amount.
