CONSTITUTION: An automatic screw cutting lathe body 6 provides a main spindle 5 which mounts a chuck 2 to bear a work 1 on one end and a main spindle pulley 4 to receive the power from a motor on the other. A follower spindle 7 is equipped near this spindle 5 and two spur gear cylinders Aa around a shaft 7 on which a large and a small spur gear 8, 8' are provided fixedly are arranged in parallel to the shaft 7, in a free state, through a bearing 9.
