Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the rotation speed constant against the variation of ambient temperature by combining the temperature coefficient of a resistor connected between the terminals of the IC in a control device having an IC for controlling the speed of a three-terminal-type DC motor and the termperature coefficient of a resistor connected between a terminal and a power-supply terminal, based on a specified principle.
CONSTITUTION: In a control device having an IC4 for controlling the speed of a three-terminal-type DC motor, the temperature coefficient of a resistor 2 connected between terminals (1) and (2) of the control IC4 and the temperature coefficient of a resistor 1 connected between the terminal 1 and a power-supply positive terminal are suitably selected and combined based on the principle shown by the equation in the figure. In order to obtain the combination of the temperature coefficients of the resistors 1 and 2 by the equation in the formula, measured value of the temperature coefficient of the generating factor of a DC motor 3 under control, the measured value of counter emf Em, and the values of resistors Rt and Rs are subtituted in the equation. In this way, the reliability of the control device can be enhanced with a smaller number of parts.
