Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce working man-hours and improve a precision of processing in manufacturing of a variable reluctance type motor by a method wherein powder of iron group containing P is pressed to form a core and sintered, and after sizing, at least the air gap constituting surface is processed in a finish work.
CONSTITUTION: Powder of iron group containing P is put in a mold and pressed to form a core. Then it is sintered in the atmosphere of ammonia decomposed gas. And it is processed with a sizing work, and moreover the magnetic annealing work if necessary. After the core is produced in this way, a rotor shaft is fixed to a rotor in a case of the rotor, and a grinding work is performed at least against a surface which constitutes an air gap, and thus a stator and the rotor is produced. By this way, a working man-hour is reduced and precision of processing is improved, while the permeability can be increased by the inclusion of P.
