Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the amt. of electric power supplied to an ozonizer composed mainly of a plurality of ozone generation units and a plurality of power supply units and control the ozonizer economically by setting a comparison controller in the ozonizer and controlling the amt. of electric power supplied from a power supply unit corresponding to an ozone generation unit selected with the controller.
CONSTITUTION: The ozonizer is composed mainly of a plurality of ozone generation units 1 and a plurality of power supply units 2 for controlling the ozone yield every unit 1 or every unit of several units 1. This ozonizer is provided with ozone analyzers 8 every unit of units 1 and comparison controller 12 for mutually comparing the ratio of the amt. of electric power supplied from each unit 2 and the concn. of ozone generated and detected with each analyzer 8 and selecting unit 1 whose ozone yield is to be controlled preferentially. Thus, the amt. of electric power supplied from unit 2 corresponding to unit 1 selected with controller 12 is controlled to minimize the total amt. of electric power to the desired total ozone yield.
