Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to issue a command in correspondence to the posture of a disabled person with easy operation and good response by discriminating the posture in response to the azimuth and inclination at the time of directing toward the reference position and desired position of the target display section to generate a corresponding command signal.
CONSTITUTION: A matrix section including a section corresponding to the reference position is provided on a target display plate 34 provided on a vertical surface V. The azimuth θ0 and angle ϕ0 of inclination of the section 37 are detected by a posture detector 31 formed by an azimuth senser 32 and an inclination meter 33, which are provided at the head part of a disabled person, at the time of direction toward the section on the reference of the direction of earth magnetism SN on a horizontal plane.
