Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a circuit from rusting without adding chemicals to coolant by providing a coolant disposer provided with positive and negative electrodes mutually insulated in a circulation circuit for coolant and conducting the coolant through an electrostatic field given by these electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In a circulation circuit for coolant, a cooling part 1a is connected to a radiating box 2 by pipes 3 and 4, and coolant is given circulation as arrows show by a pump or natural convection. A condensation settler 5 of a proper scale is provided under the radiating box 5 with a discharge cock 5a thereon. Then, a coolant disposer 10 is provided on the way of the pipe 3 or 4. The coolant disposer 10 is connected to the circulation circuit by an introduction pipe 13 and discharge pipe 14 made of insulating materials, and insulates positive and negative electrodes 11 and 12 from the circulation circuit and these electrodes from each other by an insulating pipe or plate 15. In this construction, the coolant is conducted through an electrostatic field given by positive and negative electrodes 11 and 12.
