Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide title compsn. which excels in adhesive properties to a material to be coated and gives anti-fogging and anti-stick properties, obtd. by polymerizing a mixt. of acrylic monomers in an eq. medium contg. a conductive copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 0.5W20pts.wt. of a mixt. of monomers consisting of 100W 25wt% of at least one conductive vinyl monomer having sulfonic gp. or quaternary ammonium base and 0W75wt% of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith is polymerized in an aq. medium to produce a conductive copolymer. (B) 100pts.wt. of a mixt. of monomers consisting of (a) 0W10wt% of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid (or salt) having at least one carboxyl gp., (b) 10W98wt% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having 1W12C alkyl gp. and (c) 0W80wt% of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer, is added to the aq. medium contg. the produced conductive copolymer. The mixt. is copolymerized to produce a copolymer having a MW of 5,000W 15,000 and second-order transition temp. of 0W80°C. The particles of the copolymer are dispersed.
