Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain such a motor as is thin in armature and superior in rectifying characteristic by arranging and piling up at minimum an armature winding with an opening angle equal to a field pole of n(Py+ or -1) pieces of poles against a field pole provided with 2n P pieces of poles. CONSTITUTION:Where n, P, y are given at 1, 2, 3 respectively, a field pole 17 having 2nP=4 pieces of poles at an opening angle 90 deg. at which N and S poles are equal alternately is provided. Then, an armature winding 18 with poles at n(Py+ or -1)=5 pieces wound for the opening angle of a conductor to be nearly equal to the width of the field pole 17 is arranged in equal pitches, partly piled up. A commutator 19 then consists of segments with opening angle at 36 deg. and nP(Py+ or -1)=10 pieces which are arranged in equal pitches, segments of nP=2 pieces apart by opening angle 180 deg. which is two times as large as the pole width are electrically connected, a given armature winding 18 is connected to a given commutator segment, and rectification is carried out 2nP(Py-1)=20 times per revolution.
