Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a DC electric machine having high efficiency and preferably rectifying property by providing the predetermined number of armature windings and a commutator for switching predetermined times the armature current with respect to the field poles of predetemined number. CONSTITUTION:There are provided 6 field poles selected by 2mn, where m=1 and n=3, 5 armature windings selected by m(2n-1), and 15 commutator segments selected by mn(2n-1). In this case, the segments 21 consist of 21-1-21-15 formed in such a manner that three segments selected by mn=3 spaced at (360/mn)=120 deg. are electrically shorted. The field poles 19 consist of poles 19-1-19-6 magnetically strengthened at north and south poles in revolving direction spaced at 60 deg.. The armature windings 20-1-20-5 are abutted equally at a pitch of 6/5 of the pole width with each other but not superimposed but arranged in disklike coreless armatures.
