Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain required impellers of low discharge and high lift head by determing clearance between two shrouds, by means of mold punching of the two shrounders and an impeller.
CONSTITUTION: Two shrouds 1 and 2, front and end, are punched out of weldable metal plates of a certain thickness, with an impelle inflow opening 5 and a revolving shaft fitting hole 6, etc. Another weldable metal plate of the thickness identical with the required clearance between the shrouds 1 and 2 is punched into an impeller of desired shape, and its both surface are provided with required numbers of small pits 4 made from pressing applied from one side.
