Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the strength of a turbine runner by providing projected parts toward the hub of the runner on surfaces of binding metals among blades. CONSTITUTION:A binding metal 3 binding two neighboring blades 2 is provided with a V-shaped projected part 5 toward the hub of the blades 2 between the blades 2. This projected part 5 is shaped by the bending of a press before the boring of a tennon hole by a punch. Especially, the bent direction of the projected part 5 is not toward the outer circumference of blades 2, but toward the inner circumferece. Consequently, even if a thermal elongation or a tensile stress elongation by centrifugal force is given during operation, the binding metal 3 works elastically as an expansion joint near the projected part 5 bent by the press and extends in accordance with the radial elongation of blades. This construction permits to relase the blades 2 from bending work and prevent them from the lowering of the allowance of the strength in their outer ends.
