Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily form multiple cooling passages within the conductor by putting the multiple metal pipe composite bodies packed with low-melting-point material therein in an other large-diameter metal pipe, subjecting the same to diameter- reduction working thence removing the foregoing low-melting-point material.
CONSTITUTION: Tin 2 is put in a copper pipe 1 and this is subjected to area-reduction working to form a composite body 3 of a hexagonal shape in section. Thence, a plurality of these composite bodies 3 are put in a copper pipe 4 and are subjected to area-reduction working to integrate the entire part, whereby a composite body 5 is formed. This is at the same time taken up on a drum or bobbin. Thence, this bobbin is placed in a heating vessel 6 and the one end of the foreging composite body 5 is connected to the discharge pipe 9 communicated with a vacuum pump 8 by way of a containing vessel 7 of the low-melting-point metal.
