Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a recording head enabling simply to make high speed multiorifices with a simple miniaturized construction by a system wherein the inner wall of hole formed in the base is provided with the thermal energy generating means, the hole thereof being used as the thermal operation section. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is provided with a number of holes 2-1, 2-2..., the inner wall of which is forming heating resistors 3-1, 3-2... respectively. The liquid chamber side of the base 1 is provided with the electrode leads 4-1, 4-2... for driving selectively respective heating resistor, for the other side, the common electrode 4-a is provided for all discharge orifices 7-1, 7-2.... For example, for discharging the recording media liquid from the discharging orifice 7-2, a signal can be applied across the common electrode lead 4-a and the selective electrode lead 4-2. This enables to obtain easily the discharge orifices disposed with high density in a straight line, permitting to obtain high speed and high resolution power recording.
