Abstract
PURPOSE: Polymer composition, excellent in heat resistance and flame retardancy, and useful as the lead wire of a motor, etc., which comprises an ethylene-propylene copolymer, a mineral filler, a combustion inhibitor, zinc white, a peroxide crosslinking agent, a quinoid crosslinking agent and a heat-resistant age resistor.
CONSTITUTION: A base material comprising 25W50wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer is blended with 15W30pts.wt. of zinc white, 5W10pts.wt. of a peroxid cross linking agent, 1.5W10pts.wt. of a quinoid crosslinking agent and 1W7pts.wt. of a heat-resistant age resistor, per 100pts.wt. of the copolymer. The age resistor used is 1,3,5-tris( 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl )-s-triazine-2,4,6( 1H, 3H, 5H)- trione, etc.
