Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of an arc due to a wire separation in a pantograph by providing a high-frequency cutoff filter in each pantograph and at the same time providing a high-frequency output generator between pantographs.
CONSTITUTION: The high-frequency cutoff filter 6 is provided on a power conductor 7' used for supplying to the car the reception power to be connected to the pantograph 3, and at the same time, the high-frequency output generator 4 is provided, via a high-frequency couple 5, on a high-frequency conductor 7 to be connected to an electric-car power supply circuit. The output from the high-frequency output generator 4 is fed to the pantograph 3 via the high-frequency coupler 5, and thereby are discharge is prevented even if a wire separation occurred between pantograph and power supply line. The high-frequency cutoff filter 6 supplies to the side of the motor only the current to be used by the car, and cuts off the high-frequency current.
