Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to omit a circuit breaker of feeding for dead sections, by arranging to an electric-car feeding circuit at least two dead sections adjacent thereto and making them branched from an adjacent main feeding electric wire.
CONSTITUTION: In the feeding system wherein an electric car 5 is fed from the electric-car line 3 through a pantograph 7, the two adjacent dead sections 4 divided by sections 8 are arranged in the electric-car line 3. Each dead section 4 is fed via a backflow preventing element 9 branched from a feeding line for the adjacent electric-car line 3. According to this feeding system, if a feeding breaker 2 in a feeding substation 1 for the electric-car line 3 in a section where an accident has occurred is released, the power to the dead section 4 fed through the involved breaker 2 is cut off, so that a conventional feeding breaker for a dead section can be omitted.
