Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the adjustment of mixed air for idling simple and easy by avoiding adjustment after mounting the carburetor on the engine by adjusting and fixing the rate of fuel at the first slow system at the installation of carburetor.
CONSTITUTION: The carburetors 1, 2 have a throttle body 7W10 for each of the cylinders 3W6, and the bodies 10 are connected by the balancing passage 11. Each carburetor has one of the first slow system fuel passages 14, 15, and is equipped with a pilot air jet 16, 17, a pilot jet 18, 19, and a pilot screw 20, 21. In this case, said pilot screws 20, 21 as the adjusting valves are adjusted to the designed opening and sealed at the final stage of the production line of the carburetor. Although the carburetor 1 has the second slow system fuel passage 22, the pilot screw 25 is constituted adjustable after mounting the carburetor on the engine.
