Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of linear granules of moldings by a method wherein the recrystallizing rolling of 30% or more is performed within a specified temperature range when passing through an arbitary pass during finishing rolling when slab, whose grains are grown by heating at a high temperature, is worked in fixed thickness by means of hot rolling when manufacturing a silicon steel plate. CONSTITUTION:Slab for a silicon steel plate containing 2-4% Si, and 0.025- 0.085% C and one kind or more of Al, N, Mn, S, Se, Te, Sb, etc. as inhibitor elements is heated at a high temperature, subject to recrystallizing rolling by means of hot rolling, and formed in a hot rolled plate. in this case, the plate is controlled so that a gamma phase be precipitated in 3% or more into a alpha phase matrix in structures just before recrystallizing rolling. The plate is subject to recrystallizing high rolling reduction rolling which the rate of rolling reduction is 30% or more per one pass within a temperature range of 1230-960 deg.C. The plate is rolled to the final thickness by carrying out the rolling at a time or more, decarbonizing-annealed, and finally annealed, thus obtaining the one-directional silicon steel plate, which has no linear granule and is easy to be magnetized in the rolling direction.
