CONSTITUTION:A pair of the guide rails 1, 1 for passing the lamp bulb A coated with a fluorescent suspension through a heating furnace are so arranged that the advancing direction side is tapered or spread out like an unfolded fan, as shown by the arrow mark in Fig. and also inclined downwards. The bulb A falling down on the guide rails 1, 1 is moved at a fixed speed by the claw 2 of the endless conveyers 4, 4 moved at fixed speed by the driving gear 7, and thereby the position where the bulb A contacts the guide rails 1 and claw 2 is gradually changed. Thus, the occurrence of flaws and strain in the bulb can be prevented and damage to the bulb after the baking process can be avoided.
