Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the highly efficient exchange control through the storage program system within the remote station when the transmission fault occurs, by reading the remote station conversion process program plus the fixed and semi-fixed data stored in the large-capacity memory device and then sending them in sequence to the control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The exchange process is given to remote station 2 via the control of master station exchange 1 and only via the PCM transmission line, and receives the control via remote processor 3 in station 2 when the fault occurs at the transmission line. Exchange 1 possesses channel control circuit SPC to transfer the data of the file memory which is necessary for remote station memory device RMM to station 2. On the other hand, the initial circuit IPC of station 2 consists of the read-only memory which memorizes the program giving the writing control to device RMM and the transfer control unit to the writing control program device. Then the remote station conversion process program plus the fixed and semi-fixed data stored in large-capacity memory device DR are read out and then sent in sequence to control circuit CT. As a result, the highly efficient exchange control is ensured through the storage program system within the remote station when the fault occurs at the transmission line.
