Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent copper alloy from being polymerized oxidatively and thus corroded by a method wherein a part in which a fuel flows at carburetor is formed with copper alloy, and the surface is further plated with tin or nickel.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel in a float chamber 2 is fed in a suction cylinder 1 from a main jet 11 and a slow jet 12 through a main nozzle 10. Then, each memeber of main jet 11, slow jet 12 and main nozzle 10 through which the fuel flows is formed with copper alloy, and its surface is plated with tin or nickel, thereby effecting an antioxidation covering treatment.
