Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect an economical, simple regeneration with a good ratio of activity recovery by contacting catalyst used in waste gas simultaneous dry-type desulfurization and denitrification treatment with steam-contg. air or inner gas at a high temperature.
CONSTITUTION: To generate active carbon based catalyst or metal oxide based catalyst used in a dry-type waste gas simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification treatment, the catalyst is made to contact air or inner gas contg. 5W8vol% steam at a high temperature of 200W450°C. This nearly completely regenerates these active carbon based catalyst or metal oxide based catalyst. This economical and simple operation can regenerate the catalyst with high activity recovery ratio.
