PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect easily whether isotope exchange exists or not at a measure time, by providing a column for isotope exchange inspection which can be inserted selectively to the system and be used in parallel with a separation column.
CONSTITUTION: In the gas chromatograph unit consisting of gas chromatograph part A, preprocessing part B, radioactivity detection part C, and measure part D, gas chromatograph part A is formed by providing symmetrical column 11 and separation column 10 (14 indicates a standard sample leading-in unit) in parallel and by providing column 12 for isotope exchange inspection (a material such as quartz sand which does not cause isotope exchange is charged in the column) in parallel with separation column 10 through three-direction cock 13.
