Abstract
PURPOSE: To rationally carry out a step of measuring the weight of pallets with tire rubber with much less labor, by constantly stocking a predetermined number of non- loaded pallets and rubber-loaded pallets, and automating the changing of pallets on a weight measuring unit.
CONSTITUTION: A non-loaded pallet 6 is placed on pallet receiving stands 24, 24 of a weight measuring unit 14, and a strip type tire rubber G is fed onto the pallet 6. When the weight of the tire rubber G on the pallet 6 has attained a predetermined level, the tire rubber G is cut, and a pallet receiver 13b of a pallet carrier 12b is lifted so as to scoop the pallet 6 from the underside thereof. At the same time, another non-loadted pallet 6 is scooped by a pallet receiver 13 of a pallet carrier 12a which has stood by under a floor 16 of a stock rack 11. The carriers 12a, 12b are then moved to the weight measuring unit 14 and a starting end portion of a stock conveyor 15, respectively. The pallet receivers 13a, 13b are then lowered to place the pallets on the weight measuring unit 14 and conveyor 15, respectively.
