Abstract
PURPOSE: To supply a fixed quantity of pulverulent and granular bodies under hermetic sealing conditions by the revolution of discs that the phase of holes is changed, by mounting cylindrical chambers in plural stages so that the chambers become larger the lower stages advance, and by partitioning the chambers by means of the discs.
CONSTITUTION: Discs 2, 8, 9 fixed to a shaft 1 have opening holes 6, 8, 12 at locations where each disc faces each other while putting the shaft among the discs. Chambers formed among the discs are made up in fan-shaped forms that the shaft is made vertexes, chambers 10 at lower stages are built up in shapes that are larger than chambers 3 at upper stages, and pulverulent and granular bodies are supplied to the chambers at lower stages while remaining some space 11 and are not bitten into the discs. Even if there is pressure difference in the up-and-down portions of this valve, the outflow of gas can be decreased because the valve is sealed by means of the discs in multistage shapes. Thus, seal gas leaking at the first stage is perfectly blocked by strictly forming the clearances of the portions, and a fixed quantity of pulverulent bodies can be transported.
