PURPOSE: To achieve rationalization by such things as disposition of the liquid crystal injection ports of the multilayer liquid crystal display device in the same positions for all cells, provision of the injection ports to one of the outermost shell substrate and all of the inner substrates or provision of the injection port on both of the outermost shell substrates or no provision of the injection port only to one sheet of the inner side.
CONSTITUTION: In case display density is increased as with a matrix type liquid crystal display device, the point that its response characteristic is slow is improved by increasing driving lines. It is low in efficiency to inject liquid crystals to each injection port 1 of the multilayer cells and seal the same. Thereupon, the injection ports 1 of the respective substrates are provided in the same position as shown in the figure and the liquid crystals are injected simultaneously from the both substrates on the outer side or one substrate on the outer side is not provided with the injection port 1 and the liquid crystals are injected only from the other. Or no injection port 1 is provided to the one substrate of the intermediate and the liquid crystals are injected from the both outer substrates and by such things, the injection is finished at one time and only one to two points to injection port sealing are required, by which the higher production efficiency and lower cost are achieved.
