Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate surely with an extremely simple configuration by a device wherein the shut-off of air flow and controlling the quantity of are air flow are provided for the ceiling type feeding and exhausting port of air conditioning and ventilation system.
CONSTITUTION: A projection 13 of an intermediate ring 12 is provided for the top section of the screw guide 11 placed on the cylinder seciont 2 of the outer cone 1, where the shaft 16 of a solenoid 15 penetrates through the eyelet 17 of the intermediate ring 12 in order to control ventilation. When the solenoid 15 is energized to dislocate the shaft 16 backward in opposing the spring to release from the eyelet 17, the intermediate ring 12 allows to drop gravitationally as maintaining a horizontal condition by vertical displacement accompanied with the rotational motion thereof to close the outlet 8, which allows to release the locking condition of said intermediate ring 12. Then, the application of the damper for the air conditioning facility employing the dust system enables to eliminate a smoke interception damper.
