PURPOSE:To improve the degree of an indexing and rotating accuracy by installing an angle indexing ball train to the support shaft in a direction of thrust force through a flexible disk. CONSTITUTION:From the original angular position, for instance, when an angle 60 deg. is angularly indexed, an operating handle 22 is turned once in a direction of loosening, and a ball 13a in a ball train 13, engaged with a V-groove 17 of a positioning member 16, is restored by the elasticity of a flexible disk 8 together with a ball holding ring 10 to cause a support shaft 4 to be rotatable. Under this condition, after rotating a platform 9 held on the support shaft 4 to almost an angle of 60 deg., the operating handle 22 is again turned to press the ball 13a just in the position of 60 deg. against the V-groove 17 and to cause the ball 13a to engage the groove. In this way, to the angular position of 60 deg. from the original angular position, the work on the platform 9 can be index positioned.
