Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the insertion loss as well as the triple transit echo by distributing the two-way converter between the comb-line electrode unilateral converters. CONSTITUTION:When the high-frequency voltage is applied to connection terminals 18 and 19 of two-way converter 14, the elastic surface wave is excited and then propagated to both sides of converter 14. If unilateral converters 12 and 13 located at the both ends are distributed equidistantly from converter 14 at the center or either one of the unilateral converters is located at the position which is apart by the integer-fold value of the length of the elastic surface wave, the elastic surface wave excited by converter 14 can be received in a high efficiency. Also if the tuning is secured for converter 14, the elastic surface waves entering through both ends are offset to each other and never emerge at terminals 18 and 19. As a result, the reduction can be secured for the effect of the triple transit echo caused by the reflection among electrodes.
